Tort: Overview (test entry)

Hey, what IS this tort thing everyone is talking about? Everyone looks around, with these inquisitive eyes. What is this tort? Is it suitable for human consumption? What is it? Will we like it?

Well, i honestly can't answer that

This is more or less just a mini example of what my real notes will look like (because seriously, this isn't a real note. Then again, there is probably a number of people who actually don't know what tort is going into the course- or worse, who won't know what it is coming out).

Subjects I will be covering this year

Hi again,

I'm just in the process of ordering course books and getting ready for the new semester and I've started doing some reading for my new subjects over the holidays to get an overview.
I thought I'd quickly post what I'll be covering this year:

  • Tort
  • Trusts
  • Family Law
  • European Union Law
Obviously I won't be posting notes on any other subject, because that's what I need, covering subjects I'm not even taking. So for anyone interested in this blog doing different subjects, I'm sorry. Maybe next year!?
As far as notes from first year subjects go, I might actually try and post some if I magically have time for it (especially if and when they are relevant to my subjects this year), so you might find some contract or public law notes on here too.

As for format, I will try to keep it consistent for ease of use. There should be condensed notes/cases for quick reference as well as in-depth notes and analysis.
I tend to use colours to make notes more appealing to look at on paper and hopefully I will translate this  to the digital version.
I also use memory aids and flashcards. All of which will hopefully be up here.

That's it for now, only pre-planning but make sure to subscribe and leave a comment below if you're interested or like this blog or just to get in touch (we can suffer through school together..!)

Post Number One

Hi there,

I'm in my second year of law school in the UK. The goal of this blog is to help motivate me to keep clean, useful notes throughout the year by sharing them with others.
Hopefully this will also mean that someone will read this, find it useful, or will maybe want to provide feedback :)
The plan is to post notes as I go along every week, so there should ideally be an update several times a week, or once a week, if it gets too busy.
I will start posting the first set of notes fairly soon as term starts and go from there.
